Movin' on Up!

When we arrived today we found our sweet babies have been moved to their very own private suite! The reason they moved them was bittersweet: they needed the beds in the nursery because there are babies that were more critical then ours. My heart aches for those mamas!

Lilah's murmur has not changed from the treatments they gave her a few days ago. They will try out a new medication over the next 36 hours. They did an x-Ray and did not find much fluid in her lungs which is a side affect of the duct being open. Hopefully this round of meds will help her body close the duct on its own.

Alec is doing really well. The continue to increase his feeds. He spits up quite a bit and has had a few blow out diapers but he is adjusting. They even said we could bring in clothes for him!

Fatherhood suits Dave! What great news! It's so awesome that they're together in their own room. It's so exciting when you get to use some clothes you've bought. I bet he'll be swimming in preemie outfits just like Mallory was :). How much do they weigh now?

Alec is 2lbs 13 oz, Lilah is 2lbs 15 oz but she has the cpap in so she might be a little lighter then that.

I hope the next round of meds works for Lilah. Looks like Alec is going to be an overachiever. Youl make such a nice family. Parenthood looks good on you. We continue to pray for all of you. Stay warm!
