On October 24th, after a routine growth ultrasound, I was sent to Labor and Delivery due to a shortened cervix. Apparently I was having contractions and could not feel them. I was also dilated to one and 80% effaced. The doctors were preparing us for the possibility of meeting our twins at 24 weeks and 3 days.
Regardless of a few scary moments and with lots of prayers we surpassed the 48 hour goal, the 26 week goal, the 28 week goal and are working our way to the 32 week goal to hold off delivery.
I've decided to start this site as a way to keep everyone up to date and as away to document this story for our children... not to mention keep me occupied. Check out the blog for the most recent update.
